    So again

    WP40 to swap for a WP25

From the looks of it, I have the older controller

Reason being the WP40 is to powerful for my tank.

    Regards

    all depends,
at the moment the WP40 is being used in my tank on pulse on its lowest setting.
any other setting as i start getting mad sand shift. so its not ideal. however it is being used...

i want to get the WP25 so i can make use of all of the functions the pump offers.

so in short, how much is a WP25?
i have the WP40 which is working ok but its not ideal.
i would like to change for a WP25 without to much ZAR being spent.

what do WP40's go for new? and what do WP25's go for new?

    maybe make an offer?

ideally a swop works best for me.
i loose a little and the "swappee" gains a more expensive pump.
however i walk away with a pump i can use properly.

its been 9 months since i bought the pump, i used it for a month and then put it away whilst i tried out a vortec. then have been using it again for around 3 months.
    it is in excellent condition

    my tank is 290L
i have fine araganite that starts shifting if i have the pump on constantly

its works really well dont get me wrong.
but its lack of directionality that didnt work for me.

i needed something that could tilt and twist to blow in a diagonal direction.
its the Achilles heal of the vortech
