    Notes:
Very easy to maintain coral, ideal for beginner to advanced. Grows quite fast, so needs enough space between itself and other corals. Prefers medium to strong light and medium to high flow.

Hi there, at the moment I've only got the Cabbage leather frags. What colour and size are the mushrooms?

Hi there, when did you set up your tank? My experience is that the Cabbage leathers are quite hardy.

Ok cool so its not a brand new tank. As long as your lights and flow are fine a Cabbage leather will work for you. Mine grow in a 6ft tank under 4 x 80w T5's.

May i ask a question - I haven't dealt with Corals yet - in fact am still planning my tank - HOWEVER i see the corals on pieces of stone etc. I assume they attach to that - how do you get them to grow on the rock IN the tank you put them in?

Hi SeanH, the frags are on cement frag plugs. Basically it all begins with a bit of superglue and a lot of patience :) The coral then eventually grows onto the frag plug, this is called "encrusting". Best would be to snap off the frag plugs "stem" (it is kind of shaped like a skinny button mushroom), and then stick the frag plug into/onto your liverock with Pratley putty. As time goes by and the coral settles in and grows, it will eventually cover the whole frag plug and encrust the rock all by itself. There are other methods for mounting frags that aren't grown on anything, like elastic bands, cable ties etc but I prefer to get them onto a frag plug first and then take it from there.
