I'll give it until the end of the day for a better offer. If none arise, she's all yours:)

    Which one 6540?Can do.

No takers on the 6550?For Mahala. Just needs a new impellor or keep it as spares. Shaft still perfect:whistling:

Cool. Will send you a PM;)I'd rather give the 6550 away seeing that I will be getting another return pump.

P.S - The 6550 is only about 1.5 years old so it should still be good to go for some time.

    1.2X0.4X0.1.

Perfect for 1.2. Ran it on my 1.5 and it filled the sides perfectly. Might even run it over a 6ft(1.8m) with a smaller unit on the side if it's not enough:)

My understanding is that it can supply equipment equivalent to 800W. The duration is dependant on the current drawn and battery source i.e 105AH or perhaps 2 connected in parallel.

Withou taking the energy loss of the unit into consideration. If you ran essential equipment totalling 100W you could run the UPS for about 8.5hrs off a standard "deep-cycle" battery.

The UPS will shut down the power supply if the battery gets below 40% of its capacity to preserve the life of the battery. Will then obviously charge it back up when the power is restored again

Unfortunately, both batteries are still in Durbs:whistling: but I would've suggested that you buy a new one to give you that added piece of mind. I must admit after running a UPS it did take quite a bit of stress of my shoulders. Although I would be peeped of to see the power out when I got home, it was always reassuring that the UPS would be taking care of things until I could start up the gennie and irritate the neighbours:D

One more thing, the unit has a built-in switch-over delay that still runs the equipment on the battery for 20 seconds if I recall correctly, after power is returned. This is very nice, especially considering the surges/dips etc that are produced once power is restored. Less impact on the equipment;)
