Best I can do is R2200 or R2000 without the bracket. You will have to make one up.

It comes with original 39wSolarMax lamps and Reef-tech Spare Lamp. Only 6 of the 8 lamps are being used so there a 3 brand new lamps including the spare lamp. The reflectors are std with the unit and are very sturdy like metal. Supplier said that this is a good quality Reflector. Not that paper foil type. Original price includes the hanging bracket.
    Hope this helps!

Thats what I want to hear... Sorry for all the questions... Is the fold which sits on topof the globe thin or a 5mm flat piece?.... Difficult to explain.....

Have tried to get some info from the web on these units, as I am really interested... not much out there.

Are these the units sold by the old Oceanson in Montague Gardens?

And again some more.... How many power cords? IOW can I switch on each tube on its own or two at a time or all at once only?

Yes I did see these being sold at Old Ocean Son now Emperor Aquariums I think. They only sell the two lamp and the four lamp though.

It is flat but I cannot say how thick it is right now. When I get home I will have a look and let you know.
I work in Montague Gardens if you want me to bring the light for you to see on Monday.I am there from 08h00 to 16h30 every day.
    Let me know

    Cheers

As Morne said, This unit has one power cord with four switches. 1st switch controls lamps 1 and 8, 2nd switch controls lamps 2 and 7, 3rd switch controls lamps 3 and 6, 4th switch controls lamps 4 and 5.
The switches work from the outsides inward.

    Cheers

Hi kriben. I am coming to Natal in three weeks time. If you can wait till then I can bring it with me. I will be in P.M.Berg on the 18th December and in the Durban area around the 20th December. Otherwise courier for this will be around about R250 to R 300. Could possibly be cheaper. I will get a price tomorrow and let you know.

    Cheers
