    Notes:
Hi guys and girls... This is the little guy needing a new home. He is a great destroyer of GHA and eats anything, he is as healthy and fat as can be.

But he is a little terror, aggressive. He chases the hell out of my dragon wrasse and is at was with the fox face. He needs a new home.

They are locally found just like a lot of the fish we buy in pet shops and just like them this species is also available in stores. Lets just clearify, Nico please confirm that this fish isn't wild caught. If it is you can only swop or give away not sell.

It is locally wild caught. Off Toti. I did not know about the no sell if wild caught rule. Keen to swap but if someone wants, then need to get rid of him. He is a bully in my tank.

So then... mods, can you change this thread to say....

Swap or take off my hands to a good home.

    Thanks very much.

Oh Wait! Sorry, we don't have the same one. Mine is the Blackspot sergeant major (Abudefduf sordidus). I'll swop you then.

Hay vincent, you are welcome to him if you like. I am not keen to swap for another Seargent Major though.

@RiaanP I have read that the seargent majors do school naturally in small schools.

However, he is only aggressive to the dragon wrasse, the fox face puts up a fight and they go their own way. I wuld not recommend him to a tank with smaller fish. If Vincent does not take him then I think I will return him to his big blue.

I had 3 very small dusky damsels Abudefduf Notatis. They look similar but are a lot different compared to other members of this genus. They are absolutely not that aggressive. Blue Yellow tail damsel sorted them out. Very cool and no aggression to any other tankmates.

    BUT

when one grew larger than the other 2. Things changed. At that stage they were all different size, although when I got them all 3 were the same. The 2 bigger ones took on the smallest one. Removed small damsel to the sump and the next day the big one took out the middle damsel. Killed him. They also change sex, like clowns. Same family. the female grew up to 15-17cm and was actually a nice fish. Interesting part is that they sleep in the open. Do not go and hide away.

The notatis normally comes from higher up, Mozambique.

So yes, while young, they can be kept together. But from about 7cm upwards, they will and can take one another out. Unless you got a really big setup and they can get away from each other.

I absolutely want him. I shall place them in separate tanks If they show aggression.
