    so the pipe with the foam rings on am I right in saying that is the outlet pipe and the pump goes to the other pipe ?? ps so you bought that 3.2 metre tank off the forum well done will be awsum :peroni:

    foam rings sit on the outlet pipe. The black part can slide up and down for adjustments. The rings sit above water level, so that the water exiting runs through the rings.

    Need to rinse them now and again. I'm running a TS1 on my quarantine system.

    I saw this skimmer last night. Very well cleaned and looks almost brand new. I cannot believe that it it still available.

    And yes, I did buy the 3.2m from the forum. The for sale section do deliver worthwhile options at times.

    so how exactly does this work must you plump the pump to the inlet ? also must there be an elbow on the outlet otherwise the water will jet up at 90 into the air ?

    Pump at the back of the picture. Got elbow entering the body.

    Outlet into the air. flow is not enough to shoot water into the air. Outlet too big.

    google search images on Reeftek TS1 skimmer and you will see
