    Reeftek Kalk reactor for sale.
It is the KR200, not available anymore. Tube diameter is 150mm, height 580mm.

Can take enough kalk for a week, 3 to 5 heaped tea spoons. It hooks up to the Auto top up. Pump tested and in working order.

I used to use normal slake lime from the pharmacy.

    R1500. Final price.

ATU kicks in, pushes water into chamber, top of chamber another outlet lets the saturated water run out.

Need to setup the ATU so that it does multiple top up frequently, not a lot each time. I set the pump on the unit to run with the ATU pump. So that it stirs the settled kalk up. But the ATU should stop before the disturbed kalk cloud reaches halfway. Advantage with this over the new "improved" versions with the step motor on top, it is one less electronic part that could fail, or motor that burns out due to the kalk that might have settled into a too thick paste. I have another one, no need for 2, that's why I'm selling the one. These bigger body reactors are better for bigger tanks, as it can hold a lot more kalk than the new reactors with their narrow chambers.

no, unless you set it up incorrectly.
The inlet pipe should have a siphon break hole right at the top
And the outlet must not be under water

as soon as you stop pumping water in, air runs up the outlet, and breaks the siphon internally.

I got 2 of these units, used them without issues. Currently not dosing anything. Will keep the one unit, maybe one day again.
