    Hardware for sale
    Thread title:
    Reef Octopus DNW250 Body
    Location:
    Cape Town Durbanville
    Shipping or Collection only:
    both
All sales to be conducted on the thread.
    • I agree
Photo's and description/list of items for sale:
I have a DNW250 body that I wanted to DIY and get setup.
The skimmer pipes broke off during shipping. I used a dremmel to remove the unwanted pieces of pipe. The body in perfect condition.
Just don't have the time to continue the project.

I also have the 2 original resun pumps that came with the skimmer.
Don't know if they work, but part of the sale.

    R1000 or best offer.

Would you hang onto it for me to see? I'm a bit cash strapped at mo but thinking of doing a bigger tank? What does it need to work?

Don't mind hanging on to it, you will need to install new PVC piping and connect the pumps. You are welcome to visit me and have a look.

Lean have the pumps ever been plugged in? What pumps are they? What impellers do they have? I must say if it is only a bit of piping needed this is truly a bargain

Hi Glen, I have never tested the pumps. So can not say if they will work or not.
It is the original Resun pumps that come with the skimmer.

The bigest challenge would be adding the piping and making it water tight, but sure it can be done.

The only reason for selling both the DNW250's is that I'm going for a internal skimmer after my big tank plans changed.

Lean if you don't get a take here perhaps we can do a deal and take this off the glass price you want from me? Just a thought, but please entertain the interest on this thread 1st
