    I assume you have 12mm glass where he will be??? Eishh you always keep the weirdest creatures...;)

    Lol, yeah, I love weird & unique stuff!!
    Fortunately, the smaller mantis shrimps do not require 12mm glass... The tank I have set up is 6mm glass.

    and very few actually do break the glass, think people started getting confused between can and will break glass.

    Ive heard of large smasher mantis shrimps being kept in tanks with 4mm glass sides, & never broke it...
    Myth was conveyed as fact...

    Well they use them for hunting not mining so I guess they have no reason smashing glass unless you are so unlucky that the prey is sitting on the glass.
