    Hardware for sale
    Thread title:
    Free(conditional) 10mm glass
    Location:
    Gordon's bay
    Shipping or Collection only:
    hahahaha
All sales to be conducted on the thread.
    • I agree
Photo's and description/list of items for sale:
I have 10mm glass which is completely free to take and do with as you please as long as my conditions are met.

Its an assembled tank which is the problem, 2M by 0.8m by 0.6m which if you can take it apart neatly, carefully, without any extreme mess or damage, its your glass to carry away and if interested, the stand can be included for an extremely unreasonable and outrageous price of R50. It can be removed from the house with not too much of a mission. I guess the problem is then transporting the glass and possibly the stand.

    Conditions
I don't mean to insult anyone but please don't consider this offer if you do not have experience dismantling aquariums, this is not an opportunity to 'give it a go' as the size of the tank is not.......average and needs to be taken apart carefully and systematically. So if you know what you doing in breaking down large aquariums, please feel free to come have a look before you confirm etc

I do stress the conditions must be adhered to as its a lot of glass, the last thing i want is a pane of 10mm glass shattered on the living room floor as I have a 3 month old kitten wandering around so please understand my situation and reasons for concern.

    Thanks guys!!

Pity you in Gordan's bay. Nice tank to use instead of breaking it down

Can you get it out your house? Without taking it apart.
At worst, can it go out when turned on its back?
any fittings or bulkheads that cannot be removed?

Its complicated Riaan, I guess it is possible but whoever was wanting it whole would have to have a team of 5 or 6 people and would risk damaging our kitchen. otherwise I would have just sold the tank and stand.....

PM's sent early today, not sure how this will work though, would there be working together? or is it 'Dibs' like selling a skimmer or an item? with first person has the whole responsibility?

Anees did ask first so i guess has the choice of how this will work, you want the whole tank and to yourself and methods?

If you are thinking, 'Why doesnt he just sell it whole?' - Trust me, it's just not worth the effort.

    Hi wouter ...

I would like then "place dibs" if possible on the tank , stand , sumpand plumbing and whatever you could throw my way to make the setup more complete ... that is if @Anees doesn't want it first ...

Remember all sales must be conducted on the thread, only once a buyer has been confirmed can it go to pm/phone call .
