    FOR SALE: CUBE 70x70x70 COMPLETE

    Collection Only
All sales to be conducted on the thread.
    • I agree
Photo's and description/list of items for sale:
I am selling the following system just due to a general apathy on my part.

Terego's Cube - Marine Aquariums South Africa

As always Ideally I'd like to sell it as a complete system incl. livestock but do understand that I'll have a better chance of selling everything separately so offers on individual items are welcomed. Offers on multiple items/full system will take preference over those wanting just one thing.

Includes - Tank (70x70x70) 10mm starfire, stand and sump. Sump does not have an RO reservoir with plumbing. Skinny overflow, dual returns from sump. Black Silicone.

Stand - 25mm square tube, painted with anti-rust and double coated with black enamel

Sump - Compact design, section for internal skimmer etc, compartment for DSB and standalone return pump compartment

Bubble Magus NAC 7 Internal Skimmer - works very well, but shaft of the pump has cracked. I have been running the pump with the cracked shaft for over a year without hassles.

    Lighting - Aquaria LMB-60 60cm lighting hood
    1 x 250w Metal Halide 14000K
4 x 24w T5 (actininc/blues) - stunning fluoresence when the halide is off and only the T5's are lighting the tank. All bulbs are a year old.

    Google

Waveline DC 5000 return pump. Less than 6 months old.

    Sun-Sun wavemakers x 3

    Heater

    Media reactor (for carbon etc.)

Auto-top off unit (bought 2nd hand but never used by me.

Aquaria SA RO unit. About a year old. I make about 50l of RO a week with it - enough for my needs

5kg live rock, 20kg Caribsea Primo Reef Rock.

    Caribsea aragonite subsrate (about 20kg)

    All livestock included (6 chromis, 1 a regal tang, 1 x bicolor gramma, 2 a percula clowns,1 x banggai cardinal, 1 x coral beauty angel)
Corals - plenty zoas (orange, pinks, green etc.), awesome purple palythoa - one of a kind, green palythoas., pulsing xenia, black sun coral, green star polyps, fluorescent green mushrooms, yellow bali polyps

2x brittle stars, an urchin, 3 emerald crabs, a few hermits and snails.

Other - Various test kits (some oldish) and supplements, ATC refractomer,
    4x25l RO water containers.

System is fully fitted out, plug and play. Been running for 18 months.

Asking R12000 for everything. Reasonable Offers will be considered.

Would you be interested in selling the ATU separately?

Damn - you don't make things very easy.

Most of the real live rock is covered in zooanthids and pulsing xenia so I'd preferably like to sell this with the zooanthids etc. Two quite nice pieces for those that enjoy zooanthids. (The branchy pieces in the last pic) - these two pieces I'd like R650 (piece on right) and R500 (piece on left), inclusive of the zooanthids on them.

The Caribsea Primo Reef Rock I can sell for R60/kg (basically this is everything except the 2 branchy pieces on top) - some of it may have some small polyps etc. on it but not much other life. Probably around 16kg-18kg (that does not have corals on it) It has been in the system for about 18 months so is "live".

Yes I would. Obviously I'd prefer to sell everything at once though. Will see how it goes.

I need to confirm the make of the ATU but I think it is a Reef Octopus with dual float switches. R500. Dibs if you are interested, but offers on full system will take preference.

Cool, a pic would be helpful. It's or a Boyu TL 450 and I think the reef octopus unit is a bit big for the rear chamber.

I take some pics and measurements tonight. The pump is really small though, about the size of a matchbox IIRC.

Ideally want to have the opportunity to sell it as a complete system first so
I'll put you down for DIBS if it is OK with you.

I'm going to leave it open for a week or so (for full system offers) after which I'll do it piece by piece in which case you'll have first dibs.

OK I'll make a list of exactly what I have tonight and work out a price and you can see if you are happy with it.

Do you want the live rock they are attached on to as well, because some will be really impossible to remove?

Otherwise I'll just make a list of the easily removable zoas.
