Photo's and description/list of items for sale:
Selling my Reef Octopus Diablo DC pump because I'm breaking my tank down.

Its practically new, purchased it a month and a half ago and used it for 2 weeks if that.

Its a variable pump with controller which can be set to 6 levels, one being around 40% power and the six being 100%.

It uses a needle wheel impellar which pulls 2400L/Hr of air and maximum flow of 5500L/Hr at full power using around 50Watts of power.

It is similar to the waveline DC pumps but pulls more air, a bit more water and has the 'wearable ceramic shaft/bearing' by Reef Octo.

The pump is practically silent and I have checked the air it pulls which is 2400L/Hr, the venturi and tubing is included.

Comes with original packaging etc and is an extremely efficient unit.

Price - R2200 - as mentioned, its practically brand new and was used on my ATI powercone 200i with outstanding results for only a bit less than 2 weeks.

Depends on the size of the skimmer and the intake size on the skimmer.

Firstly though, its a very very strong pump, I couldn't turn it up to more than 4(out of 6) before it became too much for my power-cone 200i skimmer body but I guess thats the advantage of it being variable, if its too powerful, crank it down a notch.

I will post some pics of its outlet size

Pics going to be not much help. .... I would like to go with deal but I need if possible the diameter of the threaded part of the intake socket .... Preferably measured with a venier to be sure .... Remember ... I am I think about 1500 km's away ... last thing I need is something coming here and it dont fit .... Will try to get my dimensions tomorrow ... My Sicci is rated also 2500 ltrs per hour so should be match ... Just must get the connectors to match

Vishal, I was also thinking about this pump. I think it would be possible to adapt the outlet size to fit your skimmer. Possibly even use a T-piece so as to run just one pump(would be a fair bit of loss on that T-piece) or remove the second pump anyway, and modify the skimmer to run off the full power of the pump. I think having the one pump(newer than those siccis) will be advantageous, and with all we have I'm sure we can make a plan to streamline things

Bummer dude, if its still available then, its fair game :)

I think it will more than skim the shit out, it pulls 2400L/Hr of air confirmed with my airflow meter, which is alot!:p
