As mentioned previously I want the fish and will only be able to fetch it either boxing day or the day after.
Unfortunately this time of the year is manic

One other problem SAMs has them at the moment for R170, you decide and let me know

Saw your post in the previous thread @DeanT . I guess the fact that its eating makes it worth a little more ...

I will gladly pay R250 for a copperband that is eating well. If you are willing to ship and he is still available, then I will take him.

Merry Christmas guys, hope u didnt have to make a turn at work like me! haha

let me put it like this, Copperbands usually sell for between R120-R220, and a bit higher at the more select LFS. Consider that less than 10% survive, as more than 90% do NOT eat. So if u were to buy 10 copperbands at SAMS for R170, u would spend say R1700, minus SAMS dioscount, then say R1600:lol:. Now when only 1 of the ten eats (and therefore survives), u essentially have paid R1600 for a copperband, and thats before u have to battle white spot.

SO therefore, the fact that it eats, makes it a lot more valuable. i have personally gone through 8 copperbands in 7 yrs, this being the only one that eats. I even at one stage bought a shoal of 4, hoping that 1 would survive.

therefore, im selling mine for R250 (i paid R289), its actively feeding.
@DeanT, if u still want the fish, then its your, i going to work tomo also, so later in the week will be fine.
@Irma, if no one in cape town buys it soon, i will ship, although i prefer not to, as when i sell fish, i prefer the buyer to have a look and be happy with there purchase.

Cheers, dont Kuier too much tonight :peroni:
