    All other livestock
    Common Name:
Bali/indo, kenyan, and bit of fiji Live rock
    Scientific Name:
    ..
    Size
About 150kg of mostly indonesian and kenyan LR. Some fiji mixed in there too
How long have you had it?
    5yrs
    Shipping or Collection only:
Shipment at buyers expense and risk. Will only ship more than 6kg.
    Your location.
    Durban, Amanzimtoti
    Price:
    R80.00 per kilo
All sales to be conducted on the thread.
    • I agree
    Photo's:
    Photo's below
    Notes:
The LR I have for sale consists of mostly Indo and Kenyan, and some Fiji (smallish pieces).

The live rock was dried out about three years ago and sat in storage till August last year when it was placed in a new holding system with other live rock.
The aim was to cure the LR before it went into a friends tank, but since then, he can't afford to keep such a large tank. The system was set up Aptasia free, specially for the build.

Thus the rock is live and cured with no pests (crabs, cracker shrimp or aptasia/majano) on the rock..

    If you take less than 10kg it is R80/kg. 10-20kg = R70/kg. >30kg = R60/kg.

Sizes of the LR range half a clenched fist to about half a meter long.

Willing to ship at buyers cost and risk.
With the prices of LR from pet stores it's a steal. Prices are not negotiable.

    :):):):):):)

No there aren't any photo's as they were all at the bottom of the pile. The amount of fiji total is maybe 10 kg, and mostly plate shapes. The biggest is about the size of a loaf of bread. I will get some photos of the different types later this week.

The second photo has a pic of some of the indo plate like, and the other on the lower left is kenyan.

I have made it all the same price so no one can say I have cheated them

There are tons of different shapes....

Keen on smaller lighter weight pieces as the tank I want to setup is not going to be very big at 90L. If you have any that will work nicely to setup some nice mini island structures please send me pics! :D

Yes Kunhardt, I have some very nice pieces for a small tank! Are you looking for strictly fiji?

I have just taken some photo's of the different types of rock right now. Will upload the pics soonish...

If you send me a scape that you are looking at getting on a pico, I can try get some shapes that are similar.

    Poor cellphone pics, sorry!
The system they are in don't have lights so there is not too much corraline growth. Once under lighting they'll become caked in the stuff.

@Kunhardt, I have some branching pieces for you (those pieces are of Bali origin). Those pic's in that link are a little more solid though... What you can do is let me know how many kilo's approximately you want. I'll send some pics of pieces that make up the weight, then you can let me know if you want them. Sound good?

ya those are more solid islands...it was more to show the idea of layout I had in mind. Looking at a lot of zoas, rics etc as my basis for this tank so a couple of the branching pieces would be nice once covered in these.

Maybe 5-6kg at this point? I have a couple kilo's myself still from my old tank but they flat pieces so looking for stuff to accompany these...maybe some indo bigger pieces?

Hi @brentch. I am looking to add more LR from different regions to my 91L tank and would like to possible purchase about 4kgs in total (2kg bali/indo, 2kg Fiji) just to supplement the Kenyan LR in my tank and encourage some diversity.

Please PM me collection details :) thanks
