    hi Quntin...

I am interested...dibs depending on some answers to questions...

Would I require a sepertae battery charger?

Does the unit switch over automatically from mains to battery?

How long have you had the unit? Dependable?

    Thx

    Hi there.
Yip, it does have a battery charger plus battery conditioner built into it.
    Loads of led lights flashing
    red - charging
    blue - conditioning
    green - charged

Switches over automatically when you have a power failure and charges the battery when the power comes back on again.

Had the unit for about 4 or 5 months but not used it much.
Tested it and ran for something like 22 hours (2x Vortech, skimmer, return pump) before the battery died.

Does not like charging silver calcium batteries but no problem with lead acid batteries.
