    These units are great but just a warning not to run heaters or anything with a heating element off them ... they put mad strain on the components .... Return pumps and wavers or even air pumps are perfect for these units ... Even wavers are to run with caution as it is modified sine wave ... you might find the pump sucking instead of blowing

    Not sure about the strain on the heaters but running a heater off a deep cycle battery ain't gonna last long on the battery.

    :lol: Not the heaters to be worried about ... Its the backup unit's components :p

    Well, I have had no problems with the unit.
    Been running reefocto water blaster pumps+ Vortech MP40 WES's off this unit without a problem.
    I know sensitive equipment like the Profilux might not like the modified sine wave but other than that, there are no problems.

    Suppose not all pumps and equipment are created the same, so what works on one pump may not work on another.
