Wow. How long did it take for him to get in such a sorry state?
How long did it take for him to recover?

It happend so fast, about weeks he started to look like in the first pic, blister was forming around his mouth... eventully he lost all his fins and was unable to swim, It was just the bones sticking out... On that stage I wanted to flush him down the toilet... but I just could not give up on thelittle guy... he was my first fish... It was a long road to recovery... I did water changes like cracy 2 - 3 times a day and adding copper meds.. Eventully I got him to start eating brine shrimps... I fed him like a baby... with a tea spoon... he was in QT for out 3 months... and today he is 100% dominating my tank...

And good on you for not giving up on him! I am sure that he is just as thankful! (Hence his attitude!)
