A great meal or fuel for a nightmare? Biologist Forrest Galante got quite the surprise when he was diving for lobsters off the coast of Anacapa Island in California as he came across this ginormous 70-year-old, 12-pound monster of a lobster.

No he didn’t throw it on the grill, he took it home to show it off before releasing it back into the ocean.

I can remember the first time I saw the ocean and was quite mesmerized. Now I am lucky enough to see it every day. But imagine spending your whole life without seeing the ocean? For Ruby Holt it took 100 years, but after spending most of 100 years on a farm in rural Tennessee, picking cotton and raising four children she was able to see the ocean for the first time thanks to her assisted living center and a group that grants wishes to the elderly.

If you have the money to spare (over $1,500 a night), you can experience this five-star hotel that opens 13 feet below the Indian Ocean.  ‘Manta Underwater Room’ is part of a unique hotel that has opened for business off the coast of Africa. Situated 820 ft. off the island of Pemba (located off the mainland of Tanzania and Zanzibar), the unique hotel give you a one-of-a-kind view that requires you to use a stepladder to reach the room.
