I've been searching the web and it seems some people seem to have heard of freshwater corals and aquarists use calcium reactors for freshwater coral tanks?(wikipedia - calcium reactor) but sounds like a rumor to me, just wondering if anyone has any articles or anything about this 'freshwater coral' :whistling:

I know about freshwater shrimp and freshwater clams... but I've never heard of freshwater corals. There are some corals that can survive in saltier brackish water... but freshwater? I haven't heard of any...

Google Microbialites, it's not the same as the stuff we keep in our tanks, but have a look.
I have not found anything where people keep it in FW Aquaria.
