Hi, I know all of the questions have been asked and answered before, hope you won’t mind helping me out with these questions with fragging?
    1. If I cut the shroom on the stem and leave the foot behind will a new shroom grow from the foot?
    2. The leave part, can that now be cut in half with a piece on the mouth on each piece and will it to grow even though I cut the foot off?
I know that these are properly 2 silly questions but I just want to make sure be for I kill a shroom by mistake.
I have never fraged before and I am very keen it give it a try and watch some of the vid’s on youtube.
Any other advice one can give me would be greatly appreciated.
    Look forward to the replies.

Cut them down the middle, like a pizza, scrape the half off, it tears etc and leaves other bits behind, then that fine cause those will grow also. Some shrooms of mine, I was fragging every 10 days.

Thanks for coming back to me. So should I not cut it from the rock first and leave the foot behind? As I wanted to cut the top round part of the shroom in half and this giving me 3 shrooms. If I cut the foot of and leave it in the take will the shroom die?

Shrooms are very hardy, every little piece will grow into a new shroom,

you can slice it as you would a pizza (8,10,12 slices  )

Like Poiro said, just cut, scrape anything. I find I do only 2 cause is easier to position a piece if a bit bigger. U can also use scissors, lift the side of the shroom up, and snip quick before it can try to hide/shrivel up. Have fun and dont stress. My orange schrooms take a month, but my others 10 days.

i use a sharp pizza cutter wheel on a glass cutting board, depending on size i can get 6-10 slices, there is always the blender method :)

Low flow, Charl. Else they will never attach - also - place them in a small container where you have some pieces of big crushed coral in, that they can attach on these.....

Anywhere where you have low flow, and enough light.... (but not too much light either, as mushrooms don't like too much light in any case)..
