fragging leathers

    i am definately a newbie to forums so please forgive any misunderstandings. :)
    i have a very large long tenticle leather. i decided to frag it, how long before the babies attach them selves to their rocks?

    Are you refering to the Long Tenticle Anemone...? I believe they are one of the hardest to keep alive, after fragging...if possible..I'm no expert and I'm sure someone with the proper knowledge will come and give you the correct advise...some info on Fragging Anemone's that I just saw...

    have you got a pic?

    place them in a old butter tub with some LR rubble, place a mesh net over the top and they will attache in a few days

    i am talking about leathers my marine experience is only about 6 years now and what fun
    i have had various FW tanks for 39 years

    Welcome to the forum opalized. :) Yip, as Dallasg said, it takes them a few days to start attaching. Just leave them alone in a low flow area so that they can do their thing. Good luck.

    thanks for the info. the pieces are already opened the pistol shrimp thinks these small rock pieces would make great door ways.

    the tub is a great idea maybe the shrimp will leave them alone then. thanks for your help. when i figure out how i will post a few pictures
