Recently added a Brain, different polyps and a clean up crew. Found this guy rolling around with the current one morning and it still rolling around. I inititially thought it was a piece of the brain but don't see any chunks missing. What could this be? Must I move it to secure location on a rock?

Looks like a mushroom. If u attach it to a rock it will open up.

It does look like a mushroom... but it also looks like it could be a piece of brain coral (or some other coral). Can you take it out and get a clearer picture?

Thanks for all the advice everyone. I feel a bit more comfortable about finding strange things rolling around in my tank. I placed the little guy on some live rock and he seems happy there for now.
