    nope that is based on new finding on how to generate 3D fractals, since by def they could only be 2D in nature.

    these are not extruded 2D fractals, but a move towards genuine 3d ones

    and those designs are pure fractals, meaning the same shape gets repeated where one zooms in 1x or 1000x
