Got some good advice from @colins.

I have only one tang so I feed a quarter nori sheet a day with a veggie clip. I just clipped one edge, then folded it and then double folded it. He still ends up ripping big chunks off that he cannot swallow which then just floats around the tank.

New trick: Fold it twice, then cut it 80% across a few mm apart, clip the intact edge and place in tank. It looks like those for sale posters with the "tear off" contact details. The tang pulls at it, rips a single strip off and can then actually eat the whole strip very easily. Less mess, less stress and I think the tang is getting a lot more nori in than before.

What I do is clip it in first, then I cut it. You have no idea how my clumsy fingers are, I inveriably cut the nori all the way through and I end up with a mess.

    Novice question,

where did you obtain your nori?
    Are you only giving nori?

I buy Nori from the Chinese shop. 50 sheets for about R80

But it is roasted, not raw. Raw would be more nutritional. But as I feed a full sheet a day, that would mean a lot of the small little Nori packets from the LFS.

The Nori sheets from the LFS is or should be raw.

@RiaanP you lucky, I have 5 tangs and they refuse to eat that Nori, they will nip on it and then just leave it, i have to buy the others, also i take a small rock with an elastic band and tie the nori tightly onto the rock.

Great tip just to add...guys first spray your nori wet with some seachem garlic guard prior to putting the clip into the tank. If you have some monsters like mine they won't wait till the nori has soaked up some water first which will mean they will try and swallow some dry nori which in turn could lead to digestive problems.
