When it comes to imaging and photographing corals, few shooters can come close to the level of skill displayed by Coral Morphologic. In addition to growing lotsa vice zoanthids, presenting at a TEDx conference, and rescuing rare corals from the Miami River, for many years now ‘CoreMore’ has been at the forefront of making all different kinds of corals look sexy as hell.
While some photographers might concentrate on photographing corals under fluorescent lighting, or in extremely close up macros, or in doing time lapse video, Coral Morphologic has merged all three. The Coral Morphologic Instagram feed is chock full of these incredible macro-fluorescent-time-lapse videos of corals.
The ‘fluomacrotimelapse’ is one of the most intense ways to display corals as both beautiful living works of art and alien creatures from another planet. Further adding to the uniqueness of this next-level photography is that many of the corals featured are Caribbean coral species which are notably absent in the aquarium hobby and therefore already unfamiliar to the vast majority of reef keepers.
