    I decided to try my hand at fluorescence in my aquarium.

    Stunning. It is unbelievable what the different parts of the light spectrum can show up on the corals. I have always wonders what advantages this has in the wild. Maybe it is a form of sun protection. Does anyone have an answer for this?

    Thanks for the responses! I used my Canon 5D Mark III with two colour filters. The yellow filter goes in front of the lens, the blue filter goes over my 600EX-RT speedlite.

    You could set up another very nice tank for the price of that camera.

    Depends on where you are. My tank - only a 90g with almost no SPS - cost 4 times as much as the camera here in Canada.
