do you feed them? some mushrooms are predatory, in the absence of food they may turn to hunting?

Mine do that after feeding flakes and the shrooms catch the flakes.

Tank gets a shot of c-eez and micro plankton every now and then. First time I've seen it and I've had this piece for months.

Mine did it all the time when feeding.

I have fed blood worms, and when all the pumps are off i would place a piece or two on it. Then watch as it "folding" closed to bring the food to its mouth.

    Very interresting to watch!!

I have had a colony of those and whenever I fed them coral food they done that. Other times they did that while feeding off the live brine shrimp that I feed to the fish so it's no problem at all...i think that if you don't see that happening every now and than it might be a problem
