U can have powerheads, Just buy ones like the SEIO's that are pretty well protected. Otherwise you can use a closed loop pump.

I think the problem with that pump is that it is very open and if he wants a anemone at any stage it will surely get minced by that thing. Also I had one in my Boyu TL550 (130L) nano and I had sugar-fine aragonite as my substrate. No matter how I positioned that pump it made a sand storm. Very good pumps though, got two in my other tank.

sorry, missed the anemone part :p ... speed reading .... I have always gone BB so thanks for mentioning the substrate for others that have ..... I have 2 in my 100litre and the flow rocks (of course no substrate ...) ... concerned about lighting what has been mentioned for anemone (a MH on such a small tank might cause heat issues) ... in such a small tank if it decides to go walk-about any pump might be a problem ..... oh yeah, should wait about 1 year before adding anemone, by then I am sure a larger tank is in the pipeline

A larger tank is already on its way but this tank is a nano tank with filtercompartments in the back but the idee is to have this tank in my room so i realli want an anemone and two clownfish in this tank, so that is my problems i realli need a pump thats not too big but will give enough stream for the anemone

I have one of those in my 3 foot, it will blow everything away in a nano.

In one of my other threads she is the one that said metal halide 70 watt and so on, so now ive desided i will use a closed loop system, and if it doesnt work ill look into another small powerhead to make more off a messy flow in the tank

Just a kind note, a nenny is a delicate specimin and ideally would need a very stabilised system ie 10-12 months old. As for the magnifica and crispa's I dunno if they will be happy with 70watt hey. They may go wandering and never really settle causing death and worst case scenario, a dead tank due to Nenny soup...

Flow? Look for 75-100times turnover. I've got a 6000lp/h sunsun in my 40l prop tank and its fine. Just position it correctly.
