Float switch sticking

I was a bit confused as to why my float switch kept sticking, there were no snails around it, I figured it was packing up so took it out to replace it, then I found the culprit, lol.

This cheeky starfish was stopping the float from moving up and down. o_O

just shows you, anything you did not think about, can cause issues.

This just happened again. :( Why are these things all of a sudden sleeping in my float switch? Getting annoying now because it keeps dumping too much RO in the tank. :cursing:

I'm having a bad day. :cursing: Opened the cupboard to start making some RO and found this.....

I'm guessing I must have over tightened it last time i filled it up? Little balls of resin everywhere. :(

Not really, the unit is probably close to 10 years old, I can accept a failure on that seeing as it gets opened and closed and dropped :p more than any other part of the RO unit.
