I have 2 float switches (for atu) inside plastic boxes, for snail/water level protection.

I am having difficulty getting these boxes to stick to my glass aquarium. I have used pratley putty and super glue, but it comes loose after a couple of weeks.

Any idea how I can stick these boxes to the glass or where I can find pieces of acrylic or something to shape into a holder that can just hang off my tank with the float switches attached to it?

    Any ideas please. Thanks.

You will have to use silicone for tank purposes. But the attachment will have to be dry. Normal marine silicone has algaecides. Have tried reef putty or aquamend?

Use clear perspex strips , heat the perspex and you can bend it to whatever shape you want .

use pratex two part liquid epoxy if you use the putty you will have to sand the glass so it has something to grip on to
