    Hi guys

Could you help me id this? It has a hard outer shell, and fleshly inner part, that if I take a small stick and prod at it it retracts.

Is it some kind of clam or something? Should I leave something like this or remove it from the liverock?

I have similar ones. Could not a proper id, either a clam or mussle. Harmless filter feeders

yes, it is a sort of clam. Bi-valve. Filter feeder. Very nice to have.

Just never put a Muricidae snail in your tank as they will eat these clams.
