R450 each...so that could be a really pricey school of fish. But being so rare you would definately be the envy of all other reefers. :)

That is reasonable. Thought it would be in the R1000 range.

lol you guys make me laugh...although I think a school would look good in your tank Sean. We only have a single one in EL, but I believe a lot of them went to JHB, CPT and Durban. ;)

not sure what they selling for in other towns, but I saw they go for around $80-$100 on most overseas sites...a Queen Angel is roughly the same price dollar wise and goes for R900-R1000 so could be close to that?

Got to be seriously rich or just crazy to spend R5k on a school of anthias though.

There are none in Durban. Ask you LFS which supplier than came from please.

If they were in Durban I would buy the whole lot with out a blink of an eye!

I'm not sure where the others went...he just said the supplier phoned him and asked what he thought of them and told him he had sent to the other towns as well...I just presumed Durban would have been included.

I saw four of them in idol marines fish tank, they have been there for 2 weeks now, give them a call...
They are quite a small species ,(about half the size of other anthias +-5cm)

Keep in mind that these are subtropical, guys. You want to keep your water at 21-24C or they're gonna get stressed. May not be practical for a lot of people.

Ours at Idol have all gone. They were R280-300 each I think.

I was a bit dissapointed, as I was going to snag them;)
