Flat worme?

    It is a FW. Any idea which one?



    Yes the heading has an e to many.

    Looks like a leopard spotted polyclad flatworm. Eats mollusks especially tridacna clams.

    What do the eggs...spawn look like?

    Yes I did loose a clam about a month ago...

    How do they attack a clam? Any footage..

    It could be. From what I remember they grow rather large and egg masses are golden brown. In tank treatments like flatworm exit has no effect. No footage unfortunately.

    The one in the link I posted did not eat anything in that nano. No clams either. and no snails died.

    And it was in there for a couple of months. I suspect it eat detritus and or dead matter. Like a scavenger. Might explain why it eats a clam, actually a dead clam.

    Hmmm and it was found under a moon coral that has a strip deteriating round and across it. It's neighbor, a similar coral is all good.

    Will get a pic tomorrow of the corals.
