How often do they have to be fed? Some say a few times a day and some say that once a day is fine.

I would suggest that you feed the wrasse at least once a day. Not less than once a day:thumbup:

They say fish digest food at the same rate as we/ they can survive on one meal a day , but morning night is better.

We feed our large fish pellets , but otherwise i don't like pellets because it sinks so quickly and its easy to overfeed...
    P.S
its the carbohydrates that make foods float , and fresh water fish can digest them , that's why you get the fresh water granuals and pellets thst float , but the manufacturers don put them into marine foods because they cant digest carbs ( Or so i was told by Seachen Guys )

I think your feeding scheme would be fine.

I have a pair, feed them twice a day, flake and pellets in the morning, mix of meaty foods at night. Treat them no differently to my other fish.
