    Flappy`s New Starphire 2500l Project
    Hi All
As I have been on this forum for many years and have had a built in 5000l tank for many years it is now time to start a new thread for my new tank.
I have sold my house and subsequently my tank is part of the sale as its going with the house, minus my precious livestock and equipment.
My new all glass tank will be 2.5m long and 1m wide by 0.8 high.
It will constructed out of starphire all round with 15mm for the front, back and sides and 19mm for the base.I will use black silicon for the sides, top and bottom.
The stand is 1050 high and 50mm tubing and almost finished. It is galvanised and painted black.
The tank will be viewable from front and back and will divide the lounge into two.
It will have a side overflow.
Flow will consist of 4 Tunze waveboxes as well as 2 x 20 000 litre Tunze streams.
It will be FOWLR.I have a nice mix of Fiji Premium and Tonga Branch fully cured and waiting.
Lighting I am still deciding on so any input is welcome.
I am also looking for some input for sump dimensions and layout as sump needs to go under the tank and house DSB,skimmers etc
Anyone who can draw this tank on sketch up and post it here would be appreciated.
I will update as the build progresses

Looking forward to this build !

Two questions, who is looking after your fish?
What are the new owners of your old house going to do with the tank?

    Hello Flappy
I think if you used the new 6215 TUNZE wave boxes you would only need one and an extension to do the job lots of money saved for other things.

Finally the build has begun,I got the guys from NAAC to build this baby.
It was a good decision, the pics that follow will show why.
Here the base goes onto the stand, marine ply and sagex.
