    Saw a beautiful flaming angel today - great healthy specimen and was bout to buy it till I was given the opportunity to quickly read up about it on the net. Preferred food:

    1. CLAMS :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: (I have three)
    2. Crustaceans
    3. Other Meaty foods

    Man I badly wanted that fish!!!! There I was worrying it might take out my Zoas and low and behold it would of taken out my clams.

    Hmm i must be lucky... I have three pygmy angels in my tank
    Centropage flavicuda, ebli and cream angel. They share a tank with a squasmosa. There was initial interest but now they are more fixated on
    My nori which they compete with my tangs for???? I would take the chance but i think it is by case too?

    Don't tempt me, what did you mean there was initial interest? Maybe when my new tank is up and running ....

    They are some of the best behaved pygmy angels. But as always, its a risk

    yep i have had a few flames and i will definatley be adding a pair if i can get one.. perfect little citezens in the past but temperment as with any individual is subject the the fish itself.. the write ups while a good information sorce as to their character sometimes tend to be more against their addition and warn you more of their negitive faults for safety sake..

    Also remember they can be well behaved for years and then just turn around, probably the teenager stage :p

    Also consider whether they can be caught in your tank if they cause problems. Catching a pygmy in a large tank with lots of rockwork will be no joke.
