I got this flame angel 2 weeks back and he has been doing ok.
He has had quite a few white spots, but I thought he would be fine, and that was just from the initial stress as I have often seen that.

Tonight he started swimming funny as if he is dying and breathing really fast, I have put him in a fish breeding net inside the tank because the other fish started nipping at him. All the other fish seem fine.
Is there anything else I can do for him.

get him out of there and into a quarantine tank! the method of, sit wait and feed till he makes it never works! I lost about 6 fish from white spot, until i separated them from the display tank, into a quarantine. Then treat with something like "ich out" etc.

Would it stress him more if I put new water in the quarintine tank, or tank water I have some mixed up already.

Use from your display & just top up display with new water. Its better to react then leave and watch die. If it dies in qt atleast you tried. But i'll also suggest you try medication.

    Hope he makes it

if you have natural garlic drops or a garlic mix from your LFS - put 2 drops into a syringe and fill the rst of the syringe up with RO water - leave a bit of air in the syringe so that you can shake the mixture cos its difficult to dissolve and then aim at the little guy and spray him.... hope he survives. all the best!

In my experience, that indicates the beginning of the end, but you've got him into a QT tank which is good news.
That's one of the indications of cyanide caught fish, I'm not saying it is, just something to bear in mind. Best of luck, hope it survives.

Sorry to hear its really crappy to lose a fish when you so passionate about . I also lost a lot of fish due to white spot, I took all my fish out and put them in a qt tank medicated with paraguard and kept them in qt for 7 weeks. Re introduced them to the main tank haven't lost a fish since but now I qt all the fish I buy.
