Hello everyone @ Marine Aquariums.
I am very new to this, so please excuse, if I post something stupid.
I currently have a rectangular fish pond next to my house. I would like to turn it into a fish tank. In other words, I would like to let the pond rize 30 to 50cm above the ground level. Has anyone done something similar?

Hi Alabs, it has been done, but i think fish only rather than corals, points to consider are temp and water quality, have a good read through some tank specs and then ask some questions, it sounds like a great project.

youre going to have a big issue with water quality, temperature, and light possibly depending on where your pond is. But as its been said its been done, you just need to ask a lot of questions and have a lot of $$$$;)
