Fish ID

    I caught another fish at the coast of which I do not know what it is. I will post a picture later. It almost look like a Freshwater silvertip Tetra. Anyone maybe have ideas that can put me in a direction?

    Most probably a barred flagtail.

    Agree, sounds like a flagtail

    Well if it is what we think it is, then definitely yes.
    They are active swimmers in the top half of the tank.
    Dont really hassle other fish.
    Dont get sick easily

    Downside is they get to most of the food first, so grow quickly.

    A good starter fish for newish systems and reefers
