fish changing colour

Hi people just wanted to share this with everybody maybe somebody has had a similiar thing happen i have had four Anthias (goldies) in my three meter tank for about four months when they were put in they were the normal gold colour one of which had black tips to his fins now four months later almost overnight they changed colour now they are pink on the front half of their body and dark bronze colour on the rear half with black edging on all their fins including their tail, all are very healthy can anybody explain this change in colour it happened almost overnight

Anthias species all share the trait of being hermaphroditic. If a dominant male perishes, or if there is none the largest female of the group will often develop into a male to take his place. This is associated with the color chang.
