    Hi,

what could be the cause of a fish suddenly going mad, then back to normal, the other inhabitants are fine etc and no probs?

my one fish decided to leap out the tank when i turn on the lights this morning, luckily i caught him and popped him back, i put eggcrate over for a lid as i had to rush out...

i will check all params again this eve, but 2 days they were fine and nothing has changed

I have a Naso that freaks out for a couple hours after cleaning the front pane, I reckon it is his own reflection.

Dallas - I have been lucky enough NOT to have this ever happen. BUT, I agree with the others. I do not think that is it the fish as such, that something is "wrong with". Was this out of your nano? I also noticed that with the amount of flow in my tank, the fish does not even attempt to jump. The only time that they come even CLOSE to the water surface, is to eat when I feed :)

Then my HUGE regal tang sometimes becomes overzealous, and you can hear water splashing as he "Attacks" the food drifting on the surface ;)
