    Hi All

I am a first time Marine Aquarium enthusiast and four months ago decided ( with the help of Ralph at Hillcrest Pets & Aquarium) to convert a spare Jebo338 into a suitable "training tank" - before diving in head first and wasting money and time.
To date my tank has been very successful and I have 2 clowns, a Valentini Puffer and Skunk Cleaner Shrimp. I put in a Hermit crab and small starfish and they too have done well. I cannot have any corals, anemones etc as dont have a protein skimmer and all the correct lighting.
I am wanting to expand and am keen to go the all-in-one set up such as the Red Sea or Aquaria models, and would appreciate any advice from fellow enthusiasts.
One good lesson I have learned in the past 4 months is "dont fuss" too much over the tank. My salinity levels are always around 1.025/6 and I check the other minerals/ammonia etc... once a month. They results are always within the acceptable range.

    Puffer attack??

My Valentini Puffer is attacking my Skunk Cleaner Shrimp, and I was wondering if anyone has experienced the same problem.
Straight after "shedding" he ate the white feelers off the shrimp. Is this usual behaviour?
Do you recommend I remove the Puffer from the tank? :(

Hi All. Thanks for the great advice re the Puffer. It has since been returned to the place of purchase and swapped for a Wrasse. All is now calm in the tank and the Cleaner Shed on Sunday with new long feelers! Hooray.
