Fire coral anyone?

    fire coral arent the same as milliporas are they? arent fire corals those corals that burn your skin heavily when diving? I think you have mixed up the names there

    Millepora alcicornisIts yellowy and yes ninja, it gets its name from its stinging tendancies

    ah i see, it actually is a Millipora, just couldnt quite imagine a milli being so destructive. But towards your question, i remember a thread a while back about one, if i remember correctly Hennie posted in it about the dangers or something, i could be wrong. No idea what the thread was called, but maybe try the obvious 'fire coral'.

    IT is very rarely imported , i have been looking for some for along time i had a frag a while back but lost it , it grows fast and stings like putting your hand on a stove.

    Indeed :) its not even that nice a looking coral but would just be nice to have. Plenty of it in the red sea :p
