Filter system

Hello again,

I have a spare three foot tank. Can I turn this into a filter system and if so how and where can i go to see how to do this?

You could simple fill it with water and live rock and pump water through there, or you could basically fill it with a 15cm layer or fine sand or preferably aragonite and create a deep sand bed for nitrate reduction.

I have 2 canister filters and a filter that takes the nitrate out of the water. I thought that I could seperate the 3 foot into compartments and create a filter like that.

agree.remove em bioballs.what id did was used small pieces of LR in the trays of the canister.worked well for me
