    I would like to know the following:

    1. How often should I feed my fish? Once per day, twice per day, more often but smaller quantities? I started losing some of my LPS and Im not sure whether Im under feeding.

    2. How often should I target feed my blue tip anemone? I currently feed 3 times per week (a small piece of hake)

    3. How often should I feed my coral?

    I have the following food:

    Flakes (Ocean Nutrition);
    Omega One (pellets);

    Frozen:

    Brine Shrimp;
    Mysis;
    Cyclops

    Coral:

    Reef Energy A and B

    Water parameters:

    Nitrate 2
    Phos: 0.03
    Magnesium 1280
    Calc 450
    Alk 8.6
    Ph 8
    SG 1.025
    Temp 25 (controlled by chiller)

    I need suggestions asap in terms of the frequency, programme, etc.

    ;)

    Depends if you have anthias or not
    I feed twice a day, Flakes then later Nori
    But do have 2 autofeeders running that give pellets but small amounts

    Hi Floyd, my LPS, elegance coral and bubble corals, frogspawn and hammerheads i feed twice a week using reef paste. When you feed turn of your protium skimmer for 15 min and please don't forget to turn it on again.

    Thank guys.

    @RiaanP, I bought 2 Anthias on Friday. How should I feed them?

    I do not have an auto feeder? Should I get 1?

    @Dorry, I have reef energy for my corals. I'm feeding 3 times per week (mixing reef energy A and B).

    Reef paste- is it similar to reef energy?

    I do have the following Lps: frogspawn, hammers, open brain, etc.

    if your skimmer is set to skim too wet it might be taking too many nutrients out of the water before the corals can absorb them.

    Anthias needs to eat more regular, and does better generally on multiple small feeding actions.

    Autofeeder would help, but not with overly active fish that would anyway take over all the action and eat everything before anthias get a change.

    I got 2 cheap autofeeders from Pet Stop. Square box things that works with old mechanical round timer with pins. They lasted longer than the supposedly better Eheim feeders. Second Eheim packed up where the older Ai.M auto feeders are still working.

    Yes if you skim to wet, if you feed your corals switch off you protium skimmer for 15 min, and don't forget to switch it on again.

    I feed my corals twice a week. Frozen food for fish i use in the morning and evening and flakes. Some feed flakes and pellets. Your Anthias feed them Cyclops eggs other wise they will lose that bright colors and look dull.
