    Morning All,

I have a juvenile spotted mandarin in my tank. He is looking ok and going around eating what I assume are pods etc.

I have built a brine shrimp hatchery and feeder. The feeder sits in the corner of the tank. The net on the top of the feeder is made from a single layer of ladies stocking.

The other fish seem to enjoy the feeder as the shrimp can swim through the stocking fairly easily. Should I add an additional stocking layer to make it more difficult ?

How do I get the mandarin to go to the feeder ? He seems to swim everywhere else but onto the feeder to feed !

I've actually ditched the brine shrimp feeder and got a glass bottle which I guide him into and with the flow turned off, I use a turkey baster and slowly "inject" a small amount of cyclops into the bottle. The bigger fish can't get into the bottle and he can eat in peace. Do this twice daily.
