I know absolutely nothing about breeding fish or raising them, but from what I have read here and from other sources, feeding them seems to be a problem.

I have one doff question. Why cant they be fed micronized fish food?

I did a test in my lab and I can quite easily mill fish pellets down to 212um in size. I can even go down to 110um in size.

Will baby fish eat normal fish food if made small enough and put into the water stream?

This stuff is basically finer than dust particles so filtration and skimming will have to be stopped during feeding or it will remove the food quickly.

I am sure this has been tried before, but I am interested into why the baby fish would not attempt to eat a lekker instant meal.

Think the fry or larvae will only eat live food in the beginning.

That is right. Even freshwater fry takes live food only.
We are able to breed clowns, because the larvae is big enough to take rotifers.
Any larvae that requires smaller food the rotifer (250micron), will be a problem, because we have to culture live food in high quantity and quality.
On top of it, the prey has to have the right movement to attract the larvae.

Thanks guys, makes good sense.

Pity they dont eat instant food, maybe we should open a fish fry MacDonalds with fishy happy meals. My kids seem to be addicted. :p
