I am busy planning a new setup, I plan on eventually running 2 skimmers, both with the same rating (each bigger than total volume), a recirculating and an in-sump (First the in sump, then later adding the recirculating). Now for the question, what is the best way to feed the recirculating skimmer, directly from an overflow or from the sump, busy thinking about my sump design?

Personally i prefer feeding my recirc skimmer with a seperate feed pump (to avoid water level fluctuation in the skimmer).
    What recirc skimmer you planning?

At the moment I'm considering either the Reef Octopus DNW-200 or OCTX-200-EXT, any other recommendations?
