How often and how much should you feed your clowns? As I think I am over feeding, as I have had a massive algae bloom the last 2 weeks.

What is the acceptable amount for a breeding pair of clowns?

At the moment I feed 2 different types of pellets in the morning, then at about 11 o'clock I feed a block of brine shrimp and frozen formula 1, then at 1 o'clock I feed pellets again. and then at 5 o'clock I feed brine shrimp and formula 1 again. (This is now for 5 pairs of clowns and 5 other tank mates.)

They don't really touch the pellets, they just spit it out.

More important than the frequency of feeding is the nutrition value received from those foods. Now i will tell you that two or three times is enough. Don't supply a monotonous diet. You are being awarded with brightly colored eggs, right? And the eggs are healthy, right? And the pairs don't eat the eggs, Right? Then it must be accepted that your pair are well nourished:thumbup:.

you feed two blocks of frozen food per day?

What size is the other tank mates?

Do you drain the water from the frozen food after defrosting it?
