I have had a feather duster worm in my tank since it cycled about 4 months back.

i did some rearranging yesterday and see it has created a new tube underground anout 10 cm long, turning uo at the end about a cm high.

Is it gouning to form a new head?

thanks

Hi Roy - this is a very interesting..... I am not sure if anyone have had this experience before. I sure have not heard of it....

I am tagging along to see/hear what the other reefers are saying....

my one corner of my tank is absolutely over run by these fellas and they have really long tubes goin absolutely everywhere. when a hole in made in its tube, seen my hermits do this a few times, a new head appears there and another tube starts growin. like branchin off. good filter feeders, but when they overrun the place its time to introduce the butterflys;)
